DriveSavers versus OnTrack

Does anyone have experience using these companies? I have a crapped out disc (unrecognized) that I a sending out. DriveSavers is about $1,500 more expensive on the high end. Is there a reason why? Online reviews for DriveSavers suggest they're either great or overpriced or do a great job for a lot of dough. I've not seen any bad reviews for OnTrack but can't find any detailed reviews of OnTrack. I'm looking to recover in order of importance: Word '04 files, Jpgs, Itunes.

Thanks.

I've had second-hand experience. DriveSavers is the current state of the art in data recovery, ideal if you have valuable data that needs to be rescued; they do an outstanding job. Prices for onTrack range from $100 for at-home recovery to around $1500 or more for more difficult projects. I'd contact both services to determine the likelihood of success.

You should be able to retrieve iTunes files or mp3s from your surviving iPod.

It would irresponsible for me not to say that a reliable backup drive and routine is crucial for any computer user.
