Tamil and Devanagari script

My Tamil and Devanagari script don't work anymore on my MacBook.

Tamil used to work perfectly, but now all of a sudden they show up as boxes like this. ☐ ☐ ☐

Is there a way I can reset the language settings or something? Or do any of you know how to make them display properly? My Mandarin typing works perfectly, too.

Thanks a lot!

Squares indicate the font is missing. Reinstall it from your Mac OS disk.

After updating ios 7 in my iphone 4, i added tamil keyboad. In That two SOFTWARE KEYBOAR LAYOUTS are given. (TAMIL 99 & ANJAL) Anjal is working properly, whereas TAMIL 99 HAS WRONG LETTERS IN KEYBOAD, WHEN WE PRESS SHIFT KEY IN THAT, MOST OF THE LETTERS ARE WRONG & MORE LETTERS NEED TO BE ADDED. Please fix this bug in next update.
