Windows Boot camp drivers won't install

So I'm trying to put windows on my mac again, for the fifth time since windows won't let me activate it anymore. Everything goes fine and it installs and I put the Mac os x install disc 1 in to install the drivers. It loads up and goes through the process of installing the drivers. Once its down it asks me to restart the computer which I do. Once I get in however, none of the drivers are installed like nothing ever happened. I can tell because I can't get internet and the trackpad won't work properly. The boot camp faq shows up and another window to update something shows up but it need the internet to work. I go and try to repair the drivers and it runs its course, restarts and still nothing! No drivers. I've tried deleting the drivers and reinstalling them, removing the partition and reinstalling but nothing is working. I've gotten the drivers just fine before but now they just won't install. I've updated my mac from 10.6.4 to 10.6.7 so can that be the problem? Its the only thing I did different.

MacBook Pro, Mac OS X (10.6.7)

Sorry mistake on my part, thought the thread concerned an iMac. If you could gather what specification the macbook is from the box it came in or similar, that would be of great help to me in gathering the correct bootcamp driver collection or perhaps sending you in the direction of where you can look.

Does the apple mouse work correctly?

And just to double check, in the right hand side of windows in he notification area, have you got the black diamond icon to indicate the boot camp software is running?

JP... by chance, when you are in windows; did you install bootcamp and the Apple Updater? If you haven't already inserted your Apple Operating disk while in windows mode - go ahead and try. Open disc by going to "Computer" Select Drivers, Bootcamp and look around for "Apple Updater" run the updater for new drivers for windows.

Good luck!! Windows is amazing on apple once it works.

I'm at my office at the moment and I don't have the disc to view. Tell me, have you found the drivers folder? You can select any driver and it should automatically open boot camp and install all "Apple Drivers" while in windows mode. Then after installing bootcamp, you can install Apple updater. I'm adding more than I should because I don't know how far along you are- if you look around the clock area in windows, you should see a boot camp icon; is it there?

Send me a screen shot with your disc open and I can maybe help you from there. JosephMecca@GMail.com Otherwise, I will look at the direct path this evening and post the info here.
