I can see that I've downloaded voice memos from the iPhone in the past, but now I can't remember how it is done.

Need help.

TIA,

Ken

iTunes should automatically sync voice memos to your iTunes library when you connect iPhone to your computer. This lets you listen to voice memos on your computer and provides a backup if you delete them from iPhone.

Voice memos are synced to the Voice Memos playlist. iTunes creates the playlist if it doesn’t exist. When you sync voice memos to iTunes, they remain in the Voice Memos application until you delete them. If you delete a voice memo on iPhone, it isn’t deleted from the Voice Memos playlist in iTunes. However, if you delete a voice memo from iTunes, it is deleted from iPhone the next time you sync with iTunes.

A ha, and the little 'voice memos' category in iTunes is hidden and needs to be scrolled down to.

    Thanks wjosten,

    Ken

I have been able to sync my voice memos from my iPhone 5 up until February 2013. (And for the past 2+ years) I tried your suggestion of deleting the Voice Memo folder to let the system recreate it (in case that was the problem) and the system did not auto create a new voice memo folder. I tried the sync, again and toggled the "Sync voice memos" on and off, still does not work. Powered off the phone and back up and still no voice memos transferring. I am updated to 6.1.4 (10B350) What can I do? I use my iPhone extensively to record meeting minutes.
