I purchased a new iMac and it came with a wireless keyboard. The keyboard has given me problems from the start but now it is scrolling down and will not stop until I press the up button. Then it will stop and start again in about 3 minutes. Please help!

Either take it to an Apple store or call Applecare with a warranty issue. The KB appears to be malfunctioning.

Screen scrolling is usually a mouse function, not a keyboard one. Exception - a stuck key on the keyboard can cause that effect.
If you got the wireless keyboard with your new iMac, you probably also got a wireless mouse, i.e. a Magic Mouse. The issue may be coming from the mouse. In case you may not be aware of it, the top surface of that mouse is touch-sensitive, much like a trackpad in some ways. Resting a finger on the mouse's top surface can cause unexpected scrolling.
I have a simular pronblem on my iMAc. Not new 3 yrs old. It keeps scrolling up in Firefox Sarfie, iTunes. Can't scroll to botom of page. It is like the mouce is stuck. I changes the mouce and the keyboard and same thing happens. Thoughts anyone
