I have a ghost track when I record Audio Tracks?

I'm using Logic 9 on Macbook Pro running OS10.6.7. I have my audio routed through a M-Audio Fast track, however I have recently begun to notice when recoding audio that thre is a ghost of either the click tracks or drums when recording guitars and a ghost of all tracks when I record Vocals? I've not changed any settings and have had the devise for a number of years, used on 3 Macs and both Garage Band.

I have tried 2 different guitars with different pick up configuration fearing the pic ups may by "Microphonic" and have tried with no power supply in case of electric interference?

Whn I use internal input/mic, everything appears normal, however I cannot connect a guitar this way as I don't have the kit to trouble shoot?

Any Logic Pros out there shoo may have experienced something similar?

I understand the fast track is not the best interface, but it has work for me up till now.

@Data Stream The interface is several years old, but I have only started to experience the issue on the latest track i'm working on. Always start from a blank project too.

I'll check the M-Audio Site and have a mate coming round in the week with a different interface to try to isolate if it is the fast track?

@Pancenter I've tried internal mic but no line in, I couldn't replicate the problem this way, Maybe I'll try recoding data from iPhone into logic via lin in to see is I get the same results.
