isight not working online

it works for photo booth and programs offline but not for things online

other forums have said to delete the google camera adaptor voice and video files, which give options like 'google camera adaptor 0'

but i can't find those files on my imac

i am getting the options to use a "google camera adaptor" but i can't find the files to delete

is there a way to just restart my isight without the adaptors

or is it something else that keeps the camera from connecting to the internet programs?

iMac, Mac OS X (10.5.8)

Hi,

Flash is a Plug-in listed in your Hard Drive/Library/Internet Plug-ins

Most browsers have an option to turn it off.

The Google one should also be listed in the same folder.

It also has a Google Folder in Hard drive/Library/Application Support

This folder should also have the Uninstaller in it.
Run the Uninstaller then delete the folder itself (Drag it to the Trash)

This should stop any clash between the Google Plug-in and the Flash one.

(it will mean that you will not be able to Video in a web Browser using the Google Web mail Chat option)

It may also pay to reinstall the latest Flash player (will give you the Plug-in)
