Hey guys, I have the latest version of iTunes and whenever I want to scroll or play a video, it lags a lot. I'm not sure why so I'm hoping someone could shed some light on the matter, I've tried changing my processor priority in task manager but it doesn't do anything, I've tried reinstalling as well, but nothing seems to work, I'll be very grateful if someone could help me fix this, thank you! One more thing, when I play a video and it lags, if I click and hold the window and move it around and keep holding it, the video runs smooth? I don't know why lol.

My computer specs are:

Windows 7 64bit

Intel Core i7 CPU 920 @ 2.67GHz

6GB of RAM

NVIDIA GeForce GTX 280

If you need to know anything else, feel free to ask!

I have a very similar speced system and the same problem.  Video play back is choppy, stops and starts, and drops frames.  Also, audio sync is not very precise.  I just recently put ITunes on my system to support my new IPad 2 and this system has never had I tunes on it in the past that I can recall.  One more thing, I am on ATI using a Radeon 4870 x2.  My library is on a dedicated drive and the system in on INTEL flash drive.  It would be reassuring that peopel with simiraly speced systems do not have this problem with video playback, and that perhaps it is fixable on our end with driver uptates or aother tweaks
