why does it say "Missing Plug-in"?

why when I forward an e-mail message using Mail (version 4.5 on my MacBook, brand new, MacOs 10.6.7) does it come up with "Missing Plug-in" where I should be seeing the image from the original message? It never did this on my old Mac Mini!!😠
