Likewise since the OS 5.0.1 update I have to pair the phone with the car Bluetooth system on both vehicles each time I start the engine, prior to the update it would pair automatically, why? Also the phone seems to freeze for a few seconds as if it's busy processing data, was fine before. And the battery life is worse now......looks like its time to go to Android when contracts are due in January.

I have a 2012 VW Golf. Bluetooth worked fine up until a 2 weeks ago. Now no sound on phone or radio over car's system. No sound with music player content either. Tried resetting radio and info settings to factory on car. No work. Other posts state problem is with Apple software, not the VW. Apple to needs to restore functionality that was there before last update.

I cannot pair my iphone to my Mac. The Mac is recognizing the iPhone, but the iPhone gives error message, "This computer not supported on this device". Seriously, the Apple iPhone doesn't support the Apple Mac computer. Apple needs to get it together and fix these problems. Any suggestions on how to make these 2 Apple devices work together? All suggestions are appreciated.

I have had the same problem. The computer was previously using Bluetooth to connect to the iPhone 4S, but recently stopped and gave the same error message. I cannot use the iPhone as a WiFi Personal Hotspot anymore unless I connect the USB cord. I have tried to "forget" the phone and then re-establish pairing. The program tells me the devices are paired but no Bluetooth connection is every established.

I have problem with my Bluetooth too. I have iPhone 4 with iOS 5.1.1 and use some headsets from Plantronics, Jabra, Blade and have every time the same problem with any of them. The pairing procedure is going always very well, but when I switch off any of the headsets for longer tome, for example more than 1 hour and then switch on the headset again, the headset cannot be connected to the iPhone automatically, nevertheless that the Bluetooth is on in searching mode. Very occasionally I found out the following procedure which works:

Settings>General>Bluetooth Off>Bluetooth On> Tap on the device name to connect

and the connection is established.

It is very bore to do this every time when I sit in my car and as usual I am in a hurry. I tried different thinks like to delete the device and pair it again or to reboot deeply the iPhone but nothing helps. Has anyone solution for this problem?
