How do i drag into the bookmark bar

As soon as I read your question I thought "I bet it's the 'pin it' button from Pinterest", as I've tried to do the same thing several times today. Have moved it to my bookmark bar on my iMac and am hoping it will sync to my iPad. However iPad seems not to be syncing properly so won't know if it will work for a while yet. Will let you know.

May I ask, How on earth you got it to even drag in the first place??? I cannot get the button to drag to my bookmarks bar at all!! I even downloaded the latest version of safari and it STILL won't drag! Help??? 😟

Hi Ngabriel, are you trying on a mac or iPad? On a mac, when you go to the top of the Pinterest page & click on 'add a pin' the option comes up to move link to browser. Click on it, holding down mouse button, move it up to the bookmarks menu. Other bookmarks will move (it will have a little green + sign) and you unclick. It will come up with an options box asking what to name the bookmark, click on ok. If you have an iPad, then sync your iPad & it will appear in the bookmark menu.

So I don't have a mac to sync the bookmarks with.

So I still don't know how to put the Pin It button in the bookmarks.

I bookmarked pinterest.com but that doesn't let me Pin It to my pinterest boards.

Anyone else know how if you just have an Ipad?

It's really easy, and once you see them do it, you will go 'duh!' just like I did. Hope this helps!

I had a LOT of difficulties adding the pinit button to my bookmark bar. It just would not let me click and drag like they "say" you should be able to. What eventually did work for me was clicking on the pinit button and copying the link. Then going to my bookmark page and pasting it there. Good luck.

1. Open link in Safari

2. Select the right arrow icon to the left of the address bar

3. Add Bookmark

4. Select Bookmarks at the bottom

5. Select Bookmakrs Bar

6. Save

Never heard of Pinterest, which you should have mentioned when you first started this thread...

Have you contacted the developer? they should be able to provide you more instructions as well.

I don't think that you can on the iPad/iPhone version, only on PC/Mac

It worked, 'pin it' is now on my bookmarks bar.

i know this won't help but i just spent a very frustrating half hour trying to do the same thing...not sure if i should direct my anger at apple or pinterest!
