This is my iPad2 status under Malaysian custom officers.

I ordered on 9 May.

DHL said it is beyond their control. (DHL:FAQ: DHL has developed working relationships with customs officials worldwide to streamline the clearance process. We're a licensed customs broker in more than 140 countries, which means a great majority of DHL shipments are cleared through customs within minutes or in just a few hours. Some items, particularly unusual or high-value items, can take longer to clear customs.)

Apple said it is beyond their control. But, they chose DHL as shipment agent. I was not allowed to choose.

But, they credited my account when they started shipping.

Then, am I the only one controlling it?? Or, am I the only one to suffer??

Hi, my 2 mac book pro at MY customs too, same as you, I called to Apple, DHL, they claimed they can't do anything, so what we can do ? Keep waiting and refreshing the DHL tracking website ?

So how long have you wait upon receiving ur MBP ? I ordered mine on the 13th of June and was expecting to have it recieved by 16th of June , but I track down my items on DHL and suprised my delivery status isn't updating for the past 3 days already . Until now I got absolutely no clue when can I get my Macbook Pro . 😐

You should called apple and dhl, they will help you to trace.

My MBP at the customs for 8 days, and another order for my IPAD at customs for 10 days. I think we have tell our self - be patience, it is ok to delay......

else will get heart attack.

Haiz....already 6 days my MBAir clearance delayed 😠

APLLE & DHL can't give me the answer !!!

i called up my friend working in Customs Department, asking why ???

i try to find out my own....

he told me, clearance ONLY use couple of hours or up to 1 day !!

if more than 2 days, it means Customs are suspect the Parcel and will on hold it !!

Why Customs on hold the Parcel from my Apple Parcel??

my frend answer me:

APPLE or DHL did NOT summited the related Duty & Import documentation to Customs !!

that's why we need to wait sooooooooo LOOOOOOONG time !!!!

It really a bad exsperience for me shopping online with APPLE...

My problem is weird. My order costs only less than $50 but its spending already 5 days in the customs here in Manila. My items are only an EarPod and a dock connector. Its not expensive but its taking too long.

Got mine quite fast, considering from date of order to the day I get to hold it and weekends (6 days. order placed Friday. Shipment received: the following Wednesday):

I called DHL and "shipment on hold", in this case, was referring to "awaiting pick up by Poslaju" since my area is not covered by DHL delivery. From Dec 3-4, delivery was by Poslaju (1 day local service). Pretty efficient.

I called DHL, one agent said it is bulk shipment with other parcels, so they are sorting out; one agent said it is still in Shanghai (I think their system can throw to South China Sea). From what I can see, it clears custom already, so assume the first agent was true, then 24 hours not enough for them to sort the shipments?

I ordered from the website and didn't choose separate shipment, but they still split it to two. My Magic Mouse and USB drive arrived next business day from Singapore, but my MBP was not shipped when the time I received my mouse.
