Slow mac
My IMAC seems to be running slow. Even when typing there is a delayed reaction. I get the beach ball and then the cursor finally appears. Does the IMAC need to be defragmented?
The iMac does not need to be defragmented. A Mac slowing could be caused by many different things including not enough RAM, a HD that is too full or unnessary apps at Login. I would recommend reading this article to determine what is happening in your situation.
