I am hoping to get a student discount, but I am wondering if I can use a young scot card?? Or would they not accept that as a form of ID in the store? Also is it true that students get a 14% discount?

There are three (I think) different discount levels, depending what kind of student your are. An NUS card gets you 8%, you get more with a college or university ID. I don't think a Young Scot card counts as student ID; you don't have to be a student to get one.
Relay your questions to your local Apple Store. You'll get answers quicker than waiting for one on a message board. 😉
