My ipod touch just fell in the pool, any hope? What can I do to save it?
put it on a radiator or in some fairly warm place (but not too warm). It should dry the insides out but it may go funny. This happened to a friend but she left it for a few weeks and it was fine then.
I read you can fill up a bowl with uncooked rice and place the iPod in the bowl.. No joke the rice will absorb the moisture. I read incidents where people dropped their cell phones in water and this worked.

idropped mine recently i can use rice as im alergic to it so i just left it on a wodden bookshelf nearish to my desk light left it four days and it seems to be working for me i checked the water meter in the headphone sockit and it said it was ok hope this helps 😀
Like others have said, rice, GENTLE heat (think sunny window ledge or somewhere warm with low humidity)
Give it at least two days, a week if you can wait that long.
Usually it's not the water that hurts the device, it's the water causing short circuits when it's powered up and used...so don't go turning it on to test it.

I just dropped mine in my pool today 😢 i turned it off i messed with it furst hoping my baby was okay XD and the only thing i noticed was i cant hear my music or anything and it turns on by itself kinda creepy right? But I hope the best of luck to you. Put it in a bag of rie OR the little baggies that u see in like a new purse or somethingcoak pockets too
Turn off the iPod touch and keep it somewhere to dry, do not OVERHEAT the device or change the temperature rapidly
To dry it in rice, you need to place the iPod with the rice in a sealed container like a plastic bag or sealed container (Tuppperware)
I have dried a phone in rice. It works very well. You need to follow Illaass and seal the container. Leave in there for 48 hours. It will not perform a miracle, but it does dry the device.
