The internal sound card doesn't actually reduce the quality of Logic itself, but it does degrade the quality of all the audio coming out and going in.
So there will be a loss of quality when you listen. That loss of quality will affect the judgements you make when you are mixing down. People buy interfaces so they can hear more accurately and thus make better choices.
If you are just recording using samples and synthesisers then your only problem is bad monitoring. If on the other hand you are actually recording audio too - singing or guitar or whatever, then you've an even bigger problem because you are actually mixing down poor quality audio recordings that have been recorded through the sound card.

Thanks.
Don't know if I've understood:
• If you mean off a CD, then in Finder, drag the file from the CD onto your desktop and then add it to Logic, using the Bin and the Arrange page.
• If you mean off iTunes then go to the iTunes Music folder in your Music directory, and import the file into Logic the same way.
• If you mean off the internet then use a programme such as Wire Tap Studio to capture the audio and save it as a file - though I' m not encouraging breach of copyright of course.
