UNABLE TO SHARE FILES?

Hi,

I am having a hard time in sharing apple files and folder with others computer on my office.


Current Setup:

Wireless Belkin Router:

3 laptops:

VAIO: WIN XP

DELL: WIN 7

APPLE: MAC OS 10.6


2 DESKTOP:

Server 2003

WINX XP


I am unable to open smb address on any of my PC.


I have changed the workgroup.

SMB SHARING also tried FTP sharing.


Why cant i get the APPLE to share on the network.


Kindly suggest.

Have you started the SMB File Sharing in


System Preferences -> Sharing -> File Sharing -> Options -> "Share files and folders using SMB (Windows)"

Additionally you have to activate at least one account for SMB Sharing.

Also try deactivating the FireWall (System Preferences -> Security -> Firewall).

Have you tried connecting from the PCs with "smb://<IP-address-from-Mac>"
