I went to sleep last night with my macbook pro sitting on my night table playing a movie. When I awoke this morning my MBP was powered down. I thought no biggie just need to plug it in and boot it up. To my surprise my macbook did absolutely nothing.

So I removed the battery and let it sit plugged in for a little while. Still doesn't turn on. With or without the battery and the adapter plugged in my macbook pro will not turn on. The only lights i get are, the adapter shows green, and if I push the battery indicator button while the battery is plugged in it reads five solid circles.

I have searched this forum, and a few others, and I have found similar problems but not quite the same. Thus the reason I am posting a new thread. At this point I have no idea what to do all your help would be appreciated.

I purchased my MBP in October 2008
