i'm working with 6 sheets at a time and often have to make the same change in every single sheet. i was hoping there was a way to make a change in one sheet, and apply that change to the rest of the sheets so i don't have to do it 6 times each time. help please?
i know it's possible in excel but you're suppose to click control and select the multiple sheets, then make the change you wish to apply to all of those sheets, onto one sheet.
If the sheets are in the same document, you may do what you want .
At least if you accept that changes are always made in the same table of a given sheet.
Assuming that the "main" table is Table 1 in Sheet 1
In the table Table 2 of Sheet 2 insert the formula :
=Sheet 1 :: Table 1 :: D12
and every value inserted in cell D12 of table "Table 1" of sheet "Sheet 1" will be reflected in the other table.

i will need to insert the same value in the same cell of 50 different sheets in one document. i'm looking to make one change to one SHEET, and apply the same change to the rest of my 49 sheets.
I apologize but in Numbers, we never insert some values in a sheet.
Values are inserted in cells of Tables.
If you want to be understood, use the correct vocabulary.
What I wrote match exactly what you ask for.
If you insert the described formula in a cell of 49 tables, inserting a value in the cell D12 of the first table will be reflected in the 49 others.

it's impossible, not a feature that's available for numbers but is available for excel. just realized there's a few other forums on this. sadkladsjldasjasndlka
thank you anyway but to save others from reading this thread, this feature is unavailable in numbers for mac but is available in excel for mac or pc
