I created an Exchange Account, activating calendar, email and contacts. I had the calendar listed among all my other calendars. I deleted the account and now have an "extra" calendar called "Calendar" and listed as "On My iPhone" in the calendars section.
This is an empty calendar that should not be there. How do I get rid of it?

I think this is the default calendar built in to the phone's software.
You can't get rid of it, it's for manually adding a calendar that doesn't sync with your exchange account.

I don't think that's it, though. The calendar is not there when I add the second exchange account, only after I delete that account. I already have a MobileMe acct and a Gmail acct (co figured as an exchange acct for Cal, Contacts and Email). Moreover it only appeared after I deleted my second exchange acct.
Ideas?

Was it something that appeared after you added MobileMe to the device?
Try adding an event to www.me.com and see if it shows up in that calendar.

Thanks for trying! The MobileMe acct has been there for a long time and this just happened after the Exchange acct deletion. That calendar is empty even after I add spots elsewhere.
Stumped ... I don't like having a blank and useless calendar.
After I delete an Exchange account, I am left with extra calendar. How do I delete this empty calendar on the iPhone?
