There are several ways to delete a file (and they are NOT specific to a Numbers file):
1) in the finder, select the file (single click), then type the key combination <COMMAND>+delete... <COMMAND> is also call splat or the Apple key and is on the let and right of the space bar
2) right click on the file(s) you want to delete and select "Move to Trash"
3) select the file then select the menu item "File -> Move to Trash"
4) Drag the file you want to delete to the trash can in the dock
Hi Carl,
Wayne has run through the list of ways to delete files; this is a side question:
Is there an echo in here? Is there an echo in here? Is there an echo in here?
Don't take that as a negative comment—it's actually something I am curious about. There have been several posts in the past couple of weeks with repeated titles. Most have had one repeat; this is the first one I've seen that has two repeats (ie the title appears three times).
Can you think of anything you did that might have caused this? Or is it as much a mystery to you as it is to me?
Regards, and TIA,
Barry
Hello Barry
I was wondering if I was the only one "surprised" by the recent epidemic of stammering.
Glad to see that I'm not.

To be the AW6 successor, iWork MUST integrate a TRUE DB, not a list organizer !
thanks for the help, I guess there is an "echo". I simply typed the question once and it came back to me on my post and I thought I had just done something wrong.
My emails do not have this issue and I've not seen it before.
If I can help, let me know
Barry,
Thanks for asking that question. I'll bring it up to the Hosts, or you can, if we get some clues here.
Jerry
Thanks for the reply, Carl. Sounds like a software hiccup, then. I'll pass that on to the Hosts.
Regards,
Barry
