You would have to use the instructions in this support document. If you forgot the passcode for your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch, or your device is disabled - Apple Support
Since the home button is integral in doing many of the troubleshooting steps, I suggest you make an appointment at the Genius Bar of the nearest Apple store to either have it repaired, or replace the device.
Box it up and ship it to me :)
Do a restore.
You could restore the iPad in recovery mode.
Alls you do is hold the lock button and the home button at the same time and wait ten seconds and it will do a mini reset but it will NOT erase any data. If that doesn't work try contacting an apple store member or jeneus center. The jeneus center you can do over the internet but you have a longer wait, or go into a apple store to get recovered have. Also try iCloud.com, type in you itunes acount click on find my lost ipod and click on ipod in corner and say lock ipod and it will maybe turn off the password...
it's GENIUS not JENEUS.
None of that will do anything about the password.
Tough luck really. Try looking on internet a wip ou because I did that because I connected my ipad2 to my mates om and got his profile and stuff some how so I looked on Internet and found a reset. If something happen dint blame me.
Restore it with iTunes, that's the only way, any how, you must have saved a backup in you Mac/Pc or in iCloud, just restore and use the backup
I forgot the password to my ipod the lockscreen and I don't know how to reset the entire ipod 5 because my home button does not work if you can help me I would appreciate that
