    Having this same problem.  imacs can play fine but Apple TV2, ipads, ipod touch will not play anything.

    Didn't realize how much we miss Netfix on our portable devices.  Hope this gets sorted out quickly.

    Was having same problem on 2 jailbroken ATV's and initially thought it was that - however, as of about 20mins ag everything seems to be fixed.

    This morning, Netflix was back to normal. They are probably just going through growing pains at the server farm.

    Me too! just set up my wifi and atv so wasn't shocked.  Hopefully its just a netflix issue that will get fixed quickly.

    I kept getting error 104 on Sunday, and no streaming at all till today.

    Things are back to normal for men so it must of been a Netflix issue.

    seriously im having a problem with my apple tv too netflix is not working keeps saying"loading problem error please try again later" its soo frustating please fix it soon

    I'm having the same issue -- can't get Netflix with Apple TV -- I just spent 2 hours of my life rebooting the Apple device, resetting it - nothing worked - however, I can get Netflix on my Wii upstairs and on my laptop so I think it's an Apple TV thing..

    I called Netflix, and they told me they have received complaints from AppleTV owners after they made some changes on there servers.  They were addressing the issue to correct this.  This was last week.  Mine has worked fine since then but today it is also D.O.A..

    I had an issue with Netflix not working for about 12 hours, then it all came back fine. I feel lucky but there is hope. In the mean time, test network settings. Try watching podcasts or youtube. If they load, it's not a hardware problem. I agree with the determination that Netflix has something going on with their servers. You could take the Apple TV to another residence and try it there to test it. Also you could make an appt to have Apple Genii look at it. If it works ok there, I'd call Netflix and ask for a credit or some sort of resolution.


    It all may just come back when they fix the server issue. Frustrating. I know.

    I just found this thread -- today is Jun 27, more than 3 weeks after the first message in this thread, and I just started having the exact problem for the first time.   My AppleTV and iPad won't play Netflix.   My Mac plays it fine in Safari.    This started for me yesterday afternoon (Sunday).    Anyone else seeing this?

    Netflix not only not working on Apple TV, not showing up at all. When I go to the web- my account is paid up, and the streaming video plays on Nintendo Wii and online. What gives, Apple TV?

    Shows up and playing on my system, have you tried rebooting the device or your router? Are you on wifi? Have you tried with ethernet?

    I've been having the problem for 3 days now.  Nothing works.  But it will work on my Blue Ray Player.  But then I also had problems with that last night.  But now it's working this morning.  What did all of you do to get it to work?  Anything?  Because while my BlueRay will load it up, it's a LOT slower and much less user friendly.  Any suggestions??  I can't believe this has been going on since the beginning of June!

    I have been unable to access Netflix via AppleTV for a couple of hours now.  This seems to be a Netflix issue.  I receive the following error message when trying to sign into Netflix on AppleTV: "503 Service Temporarily Unavailable. ... The server is temporarily unable to service your request due to maintenance downtime or capacity problems."  I have tried reporting the issue through Netflix's site.  (I can access the Netflix site and stream movies on my laptop.)  Netflix's site says that everything appears to be working as normal.  Is anyone else having similar issues?

    Forget what there website say's, it always says things are normal.  If you call them on the phone like I did they will admit they have a major outage, but will also tell you it will be back soon. HA!!! that was three hours ago.
