Can't find disk utility

I think I deleted Disk utility accidentally. I have tried everything suggested at this site and still can't find it. Should I reinstall Leopard or insert "Mac OS X Install Disc or the G5 Additional Software & Apple Hardware Test. I have an IMac PPC G5 10.5.8. I don't want to cause any other problems by doing the wrong thing.

Did you check the Mac trash by chance? And try using Spotlight to search for the Disk Utility app. And check Applications/Utilities.

I just checked the Optional Installs pkg on my Leopard disc and opened the Applications folder. I don't see Disk Utilty.

You can do an Archive & Install but with any installation, make sure your important data is backed up first.

Installing Mac OS X 10.5 Leopard
