iTunes - Sloppy Podcast Handling/Cleanup

I've noticed on more than one occasion, that iTunes is very sloppy with respect to podcast cleanup.

For example, I subscribe to a LOT of podcasts, and all are set to download only the most recent and keep only the most recent. However, very often iTunes will neglect these settings. Sometimes when I navigate to the actual file structure, I see several leftover podcasts that don't even show up in iTunes at all! Extremely frustrating, especially with 200 podcast subscritpions.

Specificall, just now I deleted a particular podcast completely, then navigated to the files and the folder was still there and contained two episodes that were not even showing up in iTunes.

This is just one of a growing list of gripes about the app ingeneral. /vent
