Is it safe to use MacBook pro charger on a MacBook air

Question

I wanted to know that, is it safe to use MacBook pro's charger on MacBook air. As I am having both devices. Please do get back to me ASAP.

Indeed, Apple chargers are universal. as such the higher powered chargers wont damage a Mac that normally uses a lower wattage adapter.

FYI the reverse is also true, however a MacBook Pro will take longer to charge with an Air's Charger

According to Apple:

"You can use a higher wattage power adapter, but you cannot use one with less wattage without potential operating issues."
