Safari lags videos! How to fix?

So I have my Mac for sometime now, and Safari never lagged videos, it does not matter where it is uploaded (youtube, metacafe, vimeo, etc), the video lags but the sound continues, it only lasts for a fraction of a second, but it happens often. This problem does not happen on Firefox or Chrome. I tried emptying the cache, disabling IPv6 but nothing solved my problem! I have the Latest version of Flash Player! What should I do? And sometimes safari is slower than normal.

Thanks

Download and install Perian from http://perian.org/

You should read this support page http://perian.org/#support in case you need to delete older codecs. In Macintosh HD/Library/Quicktime/ delete any files relating to DivX (Perian already has them). However it should be noted that Perian is not an internet plugin and will not play DivX files imbedded on a website. For that you will need the DivX Player browser plugin available from http://www.divx.com/divx/mac/
