Hi, I'm new to the forums so i hope this is the right place.
I'm trying to download an app from the Mac App Store & instead of the "buy" button that is usually there I get a button that says "DABuyButtonInstall". Should I be clicking this? Can someone please help me with this problem.It just started today.

I'm having no problems downloading from iTunes. Just the App Store.

I took a chance & clicked the button & it did install the app.
But I get that on every all when I click the price instead of the "buy" button.
I just checked my wife's MacBook & she gets the same thing.
Is your Mac running on OS X v10.6.7? You may experience this issue if you installed any developer builds.

This is what I see in the US Store. The button is normal and blue!
It is almost as if someone hacked your store app and this is a joke. Did this just appear one day? Were the buttons normal one day and then switched to this? Did you get the MAS as part of the Mac OS X 10.6.7 update for your Mac?
The buy buttons were doing that just before lunch here in California, but when I went back after lunch the buttons are working normally. I would assume it was a problem with the site.
I am running Mac OS X 10.6.7, but I don't know why it would download a developer's build?
I just shut down and restarted, but still getting that message.
As far as I know I am using the US MAS, but I'm in Winnipeg, Canada, eh!
Sign into your account and then scroll to the bottom of the MAS and check whose flag you see in the right corner.
You have to use a bank card and have a local billing address for the nation from whose MAS you wish to buy apps.
Thanks, never thought of that. It is a Canadian flag. I thought it was US because the prices are in US$.
I'm getting some pretty funky stuff like that, too... lol@ "DABuyButton." I thought for a sec it was CleanMyMac that scrubbed a little too hard or something?
To get the same symptom, you have to click the blue icon as if you were buying or downloading the application, so that the blue turns to the normal green "Install"/verify button. Instead of "Install" though, it seems to be saying... you know what lol
Just bought a new mbp and opened app store the download the cloud app and also got "DABuyButtonInstall". What the heck is with this?
Dah*veed: You need to click on the price once and then it changes the button to "Buy Now" in green.

I was about to buy the security app, mSecure. This is making me take pause since I am wondering if the App Store app is currently "hacked".
