Refurbished MacBook keyboard layout issue

I just went through Apple online stores of several different countries, but found none of those mentioned the keyboard layout for any refurbished macbook (Pro or Air). But all stuff in the list in different stores are the same. Does this mean from which countired you buy, it comes with the keyboard layout in that locale (i.e. say buy one in Spain, get Spanish layout whereas in UK, get UK layout)? Any guys have any idea on this? Thx in advance.

So it is the letter that is actually printed on the key that is the problem?

Which keyboard layout are you looking for?

Do you already have the MacBook Air listed in your profile?

You can change the keyboard in the International Preference Pane in System Preferences.

Of course this does matther, I've been using US layout for more than 10 years, cannot easily get used to others. Despite 'it is the letter that is actually printed on the key' It would look uncomfortable to me although we can change layout on Mac OS perhpas .

I prefer a US or Internation English layout, but now I'm in Spain.

Can you stop into an Apple Store or Apple vendor there and check them out? Maybe you will need to order one from the online store of the country whose keyboard you prefer.

Well Online stores are where I am looking at. But Online Stores can only ship orders within these countires, and it's apparenlty difficult to have the order shipped outside the country without any intermedium

Do you have any friends or relatives in the US? You could have it shipped to them and they could reship it to you. And if they send it as a gift you might avoid the VAT.
