I cannot perform security update with Mac OS X v10.411. My Mac Book Pro is super behind concerning updates and security.

If you want the most recent security updates you need to upgrade your OS to Leopard 10.5 or Snow Leopard 10.6.

Yes, I too have that problem. And, I have actually been hacked into, had all of my files, folders, photos, applications, sys pref, (in-other-words) EVERYTHING copied and recopied. It has been a nightmare. My identity was completely stolen. What makes it worse is that when I told apple ~ I was told by 1 Apple Supervising Technician that I was out of my mind and that it wasn't possible. He was very dismissive and treated me if I were some kind of idiot. Well, check out below. This is since Saturday or Sunday last. I didn't authorize this and I sure as **** don' know who any of these people are.
I installed the 10.5 disk. And I too, like many Macbook Pro users had the "Black Screen" bug. So I had to go back to 10.4. I went back and this is what I inherited. I now rarely have control over the computer, never my printer and I my security has been and is constantly being compromised. I believe that Apple needs to own up to this and, perhaps, do something about it? Am I asking too much?

What you're showing us is isn't any sign of being hacked into. I get the same results when I type in Finger and Who and it is just showing what your user account provides since you aren't using it in the normal manner and providing an actual user and address. 'Who' gets you who is logged in now, and 'finger' is just a way of getting login information on another user. Right now the stuff above says you're in user account cat, that cat is logged in from a CONsole (keyboard, not a remote computer), and if somebody fingered your account they'd get the stuff you showed us. You then got a listing for domains with "Con" in the name. None of that is any sign of hacking! It's like saying your name appears in the phone book and that's indicting your line is bugged.
Asking too much? Yes, and yes. First yes because there isn't anything indicating signs of hacking, and even if there were, you're asking Apple to close the stable door. Maybe you have had stuff copied, but social hacking is probably a lot easier than brute hacking of your computer. If you have answered an e-mail saying you need to log in to a site immediately to verify your banking status - well that site might be fake and then you've provided them with the information they need. Do you always verify that the software you install is from a reliable site?
Second yes because Tiger is outdated. At some stage they need to cut the rope in terms of support. I too wish they would make it more than the nominal 4 years or so they currently seem to run, especially since Apple computers and systems last such a long time. I see Microsoft still bringing out updated for my 8 year old version of Office vs. Apple that no longer supports a system after roughly 4 years, but then if I had a Windows system I might need the support even more.
