How do you get messages deleted on iPad 2?

I'm assuming you are using the Facebook app from the App store? If yes, I think you have the option of archiving a message, but not deleting it on the application. With the message open, click on the button that looks like a forward button and your options are there......
Hi I am assuming you've solved the problem and I was searching for something else and saw this post, so thought I would answer it anyway, although its not really an Apple question. When you are in messages inside the FB app, select the message on the left and then the actual message will appear on the right. Hold your finger for 1 second on the message content on the right and you will get a pop-up saying copy or delete. That's it!

I am using MyPad+ I have looked everywhere and do not see any button that looks like a forward button when I open the message... any ideas?
Deleting messages are easy. See below:
1. If you want to delete the entire conversation, touch and hold the user name ( Facebook ID) of your friend and will pop up as 'delete' and you can delete it.
2. If you want to delete a message only in a conversation list, touch and hold that message and the 'delete' will pop up and you can delete it.
