Q: Logic 9-AxiomPro25 makes "beep" noise on release of Note

I'm trying to set up an Axiom Pro 25 with Hypercontrol to use with Logic 9 and/or Garage band. Under both programs the keyboard and functions work, but I'm getting a "beep" from my computer upon release of every midi note. Can't seem to find any sort of preference page in any program that would give me a clue as to why the controller is doing this. Everything else seems to work fine....the board will play the instrument, most knobs/sliders work, etc....it's just this annoying "beep" as if the computer is trying to tell you something everytime you release a note.

Any clues....??
