This is more a request, then a question. I have just made an order for a 27 iMac and a Cinema Display.
I have done some goggling, and I see a lot of people have requested1080p support from both displays, when using Kanex XD to play there consolesand movies.
I don't understand why this is not available right now, but pleasemake an update to allow this, we can love our macs even more ➕😎

Good luck if you ever need support from Kanex.. They have no 800 number and all requests go through email. I had a major problem with their MDP-DVI adapter and wound up returning it to OWC after several days of no response from Kanex. I decided to go with Atlona which has an 800 number and is a legit company..
Caveat Emptor.
The reason it is not out yet or does not work is for the pure fact that the ACD or iMac 27" will only support 2 input resolutions (720p or 2560x1440). Your XBOX or PS3 does in fact output @ a resolution of 1080p, which would be awesome for playing on the 27" ACD or iMac, BUT impossible as those displays only allow 720p or 2560x1440. Since you can't set your XBOX or PS3 to 2560x1440, the only other available option is 720p.
