“The original item cannot be found” start up item -- I want removed

I have

“The original item cannot be found” on two start up connections that are old -- how do I remove them so I do not see this everytime I start my machine.

I let someone use my machine and they set it to open automatically at start up =-/

MacBook Pro, Mac OS X (10.6.7)

above is what was there -- I removed the computer name and user name -- if it is relevant I can put it in but I am not comfortable with that in a public forum.
