Looking For Lightning Strike Footage

Hi Gang

I'm well familiar with Detonation Film Works and how to use their footage. But they don't seem to have 'Lightning Strikes'. You guys know where I can buy or download a simple Lightnig Strike?

Thanx

Mike

Hi Guys

Thanks for your replies ....

I actually just signed up for a Trail on Video Blocks:

http://www.videoblocks.com/search.php?txtSearch=lightning

But was wondering if the process was similar to Detonation Film Works?

Apparently not ....

I've overlayed Detonation clips before by adding the clip to a new video track, then highlighting the clip, then right click and choosing 'Composite Mode', then 'lighten', or 'darken'. But for these clips, (probably because they weren't created with a screen backgroud), are not working out the same way. Suppose they're to be used as 'stand alone stock footage'.

Thanks Meg

Hey Ian!

Did you get my last email? Hope it wasn't over the top? I actually just got back from another 690 mile road journey to Southbend Indiana. Spent Memorial Day with a 91 year old veteran, (relevant to the documentary). His stories were unbelievably graphic.

I will play around with Motion, and download a few more FREE Video blocks. These are for the 'Behind The Scenes' chapter.

Thank you Ian

Best

Thanx Christina

As I mentioned, I was looking for a 'customizable option'. Ian pointed out the template in Motion. As far as 'Stock Footage', I'm a regular customer at 'Footage Firm', and 'Video Blocks'. I've been given opportunities to sign up for 'Trail Runs', and have downloaded quite a lot.

Additional deals include thier 'specials', where you'd only pay for shipping.

Other may want to visit the sites:
