I have been trying for 4 weeks to get this itunes thing backed up and onto my mac from the original downloads on my windows7 laptop and all I get is things that don't work
Surely to god there must be a law against Itunes selling this crap and not supporting it
I have HAD IT with spending all this time WASTING all this time /
Why is it so hard to just find the answer to one simple question
If this sounds RUDE its because I am frustrated with dedicating my life and my free time to a dead end street apparently.
I am frustrated that I have spent so much money and gotten nothing but aggravation.
APPLE and ITUNES are not here to express my frustration to but my frustration has to go SOMEWHERE.
Thank you, but I don't have an IPOD. Will this work the same way with a flash drive? I do not understand this at all nor do I understand how to get an Itunes toolbar, would help tremendously.

ITS ABOUT how to restore them to an external hard drive. I want to get it off a flash drive onto my apple hard drive. I'm sorry, I am so frustrated now it is accomplishing nothing, why do all the answers just lead to more questions
The flash drive and an external hard drive is storage media, basically the same. Just follow the instructions to backup to the hard drive (flash drive) and restore from a hard drive (flash drive).
A flash drive is an external drive.
I Dont want to back it up to the flash drive I want to get it into my music library in some kind of usable format, the only way I can listen to the songs I purchased is to get them from the flash drive and listen one by one, there is no IMPORT
It would seem to make sense to have an import to library function but there is none

For the last time, follow the instructions included with the link provided to transfer your entire iTunes library from your PeeCee to your Mac. Following the instructions will transfer everything including playlists, play count, etc., and which can be done with two steps without having to import anything.
