Transfer ownership of iPad

My husband purchased an iPad 2. I will now have his original iPad. Is it all right to simply Erase All Content and Settings under the Reset option in the Settings on the iPad, so that I can connect it to my iTunes account (on a separate computer) and begin to use it? He has already set up the iPad 2 with all of his account information and the files and apps that are still on the original iPad.

Yes, just go to the settings>general>erase all content and settings. Then sync it with your computer.

yes you can do really anything you can just connect it and restore it or erase and restore and there is a third option of just connecting it and syncing it will ask if you want to transfer purchased items you dont have to and then you can just start syncing your things into it, it is most likly to erase the other stuff unless you have one or more of the same things on it
