How to play unprotected Blu Ray discs on a Mac ?

Hi,

I own Blu Ray recorder from Panasonic (DMR BW500) on which I record TV.

I, then, can copy the shows on Blu Ray discs.

I plan to buy a MacBook Air + Blu Ray player/DVD recorder instead of the external Apple superdrive.

Will VLC read the unprotected Blu Rays ?

What if I use Windows ?

MacBook, Mac OS X (10.6.6)

The OP already has a Blu-ray drive. What possible help could it be to link to another one?
