Hi,my company plan to produce external battery for iphone which connect to iphone by apple 30 pin connector,so i want to get MFI program ,what is the progress? Is it difficult for small company to get MFI program for hardward accessories? What percentage would we have to pay apple if we get the MFI? If someone had get it ,pls tell me the more detail about it,thank you so much.

MfI details are under NDA. Those that know can't discuss here in public.
There is no room for the hobbiest in this space. It requires a commitment in time, money and effort. Apple to the program to learn if you qualify.

I had by APPLE their MFI list about the quaified Suppliers. I had a PPID but I have some matters with the local customs, and I'm unable to proof I followed the right way.
My company paid to have the APPLE approvation about a data & sync cable, but now, I'm unable to solve this matter.
Can you help me giving some more info?

We made a data & sync cable following the MFI program.
I made my request to the APPLE and they replyed me, giving me an MFI list.
I chose a Supplier, and paid them the item and APPLE certification costs!
Now I have the item, but our custom do not allow us to clear the goods,
beacuse they would like to see an APPLE authorization.
Unfortunately, it seems APPLE just took the Certifications costs, beacuse I'm still waiting to have
a their reply about this issue.
I am having the same issue. Apple will not provide certification to my factory so I can provide to customs.. Any solutions?
