I just did two screen shots one after the other, the first on worked but the 2nd one didn't. I tried it several more times and can hear the camera sound it makes but it's no where to be found. The ones that worked just showed up on my desktop. I looked all over in my files and it's not there. Help?

Thanks for your reply, I still tried looking around and couldn't find where finder placed them, the screenshot plus seemed to work just fine though.
You've closed all windows on the desktop so you can see the whole desktop? That is very strange. Glad you found an alternative anyway. There's also an app in your Utilities folder called Grab which will take screen shots.
Like the app alot, but how do you use it outside of dashboard?? I cannot get it to come up or use it when in my normal desktop environment... is there a key sequence to bring it up?? Any advice is appreciated!! Thanks!!

Are you referring to Grab or SS+?
