Using Alarm While iPhone is turned off

I need to have the alarm go off and turn the phone on when the phone is turned off. Occasionally, I don't have the charger, such ad when I am camping or if I travel for work and forget the charger. I want to be able to save the battery and still have the alarm go off. Every previous phone I have had has this capability. Even if the phone was down to 10% battery, I knew I could set the alarm, turn the phone off, and be confident it would turn on.

It's also nice to be able to turn the phone off to be able to avoid texts or calls, but I realize you can get around this via silent mode or airplane mode. If there is no way to add this capability to the current iPhones, it would be great to add it to the next generation. I have spoken to multiple other iPhone users who have the same issue.

As a work around if you find yourself camping and wanting to save battery but have alarm. Turn airplane mode on, that will turn off all signals. Ensure all apps are closed. And set alarm and put to sleep mode by locking the screen. At those settings very little battery is used other than to keep track of time thus should have zero issue.

Yes more steps, but as you said, it is just something you needed at specific instances.
