Mac OS X clients cannot access server through SMB

Hello,

I have a Mac OS X Server 10.6.7 installed on a Mac Mini (2006 Core Duo).

The SMB file sharing is active and Windows clients can access the server using the same username/password.

The strange thing is that Mac os X clients cannot access the server using SMB (they can through AFP).

Mac OS X Clients cannot access the server using the same SMB Username/password. They get the message "The folder “EXAMPLE” can’t be opened because you don’t have permission to see its contents."

I propagated username permissions over the sharepoint end everything looks ok. WHat am I doing wrong?

Kind Regards

Luca
