Greyed out calendar items
iPhone 4, iOS 4.3.1
Seriously?? THis thing is driving me nuts....no thoughts?
You sent them to yourself where? What calendar are they in? If they are on a subscribed calendar, you won't have rights to edit or delete them as the device doesn't own it.
ok, that is helpful. I sent them from my work Oulook to my gmail account and then imported the event into my iPhone. I really dont need to edit, I would just like to get rid of them.
thanks!
If you set up your Gmail account as an Exchange account (you can find instructions on the gmail site) You can get direct access to your Google calendar (as well as contacts) without having to 'import' the item. You'll be able to create, edit, delete, whatever. It also means you get push notification of new mail received in your gmail account if you want it.
KT,
thank you!! I started playing around with the gmail account and have fixed the issue!! I appreciate your help. I can now sleep.
