MobileMe-based ASC accounts

My account here was setup using my Dot Mac (now MobileMe) address. In just over a year from now, on June 30, 2012, Apple will be discontinuing MobileMe and replace it with the new iCloud. So, Hosts, will there be a way to create a new account yet retain our history, points, levels, avatars, etc, or when MM goes, will we lose everything? It also looks like this new iCloud will require iOS 5 and Mac OS 10.7 as the minimum OS for iDevices and Macs respectively. At least that is what I saw and heard during the live feeds of the WWDC keynote this morning.

I received an email from MM that boils down to:

1. MM will be free until 30 Jun 2012.

2. On 1 Jul 2012, MM disappears.

3. iCloud will launch this Fall with a minimum of iOS 5 for moble devices and Mac OS 10.7 for Macs being required.

4. Those MM members meeting the requirements in 3 above will be able to move their MM email address(es) to iCloud.

Thanks for finding that out and posting it here - been around since the iTools days and would hate to lose my .Mac email address.
