.caf files for FCP
Should I convert all .caf files from Soundtrack Pro into AIFF or another format for use in FCP sequences?

Thanks, but they aren't making me render all the time. However, I recently converted one .caf file from Soundtrack Pro because it was glitchy and read on a message board that FCP doesn't like compressed files. But I'm using a number of FX files from Soundtrack Pro, and I don't see them causing problems currently. So I'm wondering if I had better convert them all (a time-consuming prospect) to save myself future headaches.
Try if it works for you to rename the file extension to .aiff
