When I tried to see a movie, which has the closed caption, in the apple tv, they does not appear. However, said move when I see it in the ipad or in the mac book the closed caption works perfectly. How to solve this problem?

Yes, I have enabled closed caption in the apple tv. In addition, I have resetted the apple tv several times, but anything of these actions have worked. Do you know how to solve this situation?
Are you sure the movie has closed captions, are you in a location that supports it.
My Dad has come across the same problem. He did go to the local Apple Store and they said it's not able to provide CC for Netflix, even though the Netflix movie HAS the closed captioning. He has actually emailed Steve Jobs about this. 🙂
Aghh, yes netflix doesn't support cc, I'd assumed we were discussing iTunes movies.
I am having the same problem. I buy my movies off of iTunes and stream them from my iPad to my apple tv. The closed captioning will work on the iPad but not on the tv.
How do I fix this?
I have this problem aswell, trying to watch TV shows with closed caption. It clearly shows the CC icon but does not show captions. I have everything correct in settings.
I think that this is not supported by Apple.
I have the same problem too. Closed captions from TV shows aren't displayed on TV although they are very well displayed on iPad and Mac. I think it's because of HDMI that apparently doesn't transport closed captions datas. In that case, why would iTunes Store offer CC via Apple TV ?... I hope someone has the real answer about that.
Same here. CC works on iPhone/iPad but doesn't stream to Apple TV.
All settings are correct still wouldn't stream the CC
the latest updates from Apple always turn off my settings for closed captioning. I also don't appreciate them updating without any kind of notification
