Q: aperture on emac

I have a 1.25ghz emac running leopard with 1.5gb ram and 80gb HDD. Ram is about to be bumped to 2gb, and HDD to at least 160gb (if you have any recommendations let me know please! I would love to have 250-500gb). I'm looking to install either aperture or lightroom on it but I'm not sure which versions are compatible. I would love to run 3, but I'm pretty sure it won't work.

Aperture 3, Mac OS X (10.5), 1.25GHz Power PC G4, 1.5gb RAM, 80g

Aperture 3 and the current version of Lightroom both require an Intel Processor, which you don't have. No processor upgrades to Intel are avaialble.

Looks like Lightroom 2 would work:

    SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS

    • PowerPC® G4 or G5 or Intel® processor
    • Mac OS X v.10.4-10.5
    • 1GB of RAM
    • 1GB of available hard-disk space
    • 1,024x768 monitor resolution
    • CD-ROM drive
