iPhone distribution (no profiles currently match)

Newbie here. I am trying to upload my first ipad app and at the moment am stuck with trying to get Xcode to set my iPhone Distribution properly. I got my key, my certificate and did what documentation said, but am stuck. It always shows this -

iPhone distribution (no profiles currently match)

It may be because of my Bundle names - I was confused when I created that, but I don't know if that was it or not.

Is there any step by step explanation of how to set that up? Do I need to start over? (Which means I can 't reuse my app name??)

I have searched google for days and there are so many explanations of what can go wrong, but so many are from 2009, before the current xcode 4.

I am just so confused right now. Help.

Hi avfadagio,

Can u check once your application info.plist file, there u have to mention your Bundle Identifier.

Eg:- com.yourcompany.appname

like that you have to give your Bundle Identifier name.

This is where I think there is a problem, but I don't know what to do to fix it.

My Bundle ID is FMIndexrfc1034identifier

which I know doesn't look typical, but somehow this is what it needs, otherwise when I try to upload, I get a mismatch of bundle identifers. How do I change it?

And when I say change it, I know how to change it in the plist and all, but how do I change what the app store wants it to be?

Got it to work!!!!! Apparently I did not really create an App store certificate or something. Going through all the steps again more carefully and I was able to set my distribution and uploaded my app.
