I was given a used iPhone, and everytime i go to the Apps Store application it keeps telling me to sign in using the old owner's apple ID, how do i change it to use my own apple ID??
I've already had it restored and wiped clean, but it seems it just won't change this one thing.
(note: this was my mom's old phone and she gave me this one when she bought a new fancy white one)
Go to the App store>features, scroll down and press Account and then Sing Out.

When i hit "Update" on some apps that want to update, a pop-up comes up showing her apple id and asking for her PW still 😟
Do not hit Update, go to the FEATURES (on the left)scroll down and there is Account. Or go to the setting application>General and there is Store and there you can sign out
I already did sign her out. What i'm saying is that even though she is signed out and both places where it says ACCOUNT shows my own apple ID, when i try to buy/update my apps, a pop-up tells me to to input the previous owner's password.
If that app bought your mum you can not update it with your account, must be thru mums account, because your are not owner of that app. When you buy an old iPhone you do not buy its stuff.
Okay, so if i were to uninstall all the apps previously bought by her, and reinstalled them (they were all free), would it then let me use my own Apple ID?
