Change date on multiple to-do items

I'm looking for a quick way to change the date on several to-do items at once. While events can be dragged en masse from one calendar date to another, I can't find a way to select several to-do items and change their due date. So far I've been opening each to-do item separately and editing the date. This seems like more work than it should be so I suspect I'm missing something obvious. Thanks for any suggestions.
